Where can the application be submitted?

From the country of origin

  • The application is submitted at the Spanish Consulate in the applicant’s country of residence.
  • The visa issued will be valid for one year.
  • From within Spain

  • The application is submitted to the Large Companies and Strategic Groups Unit (UGE-CE), provided the applicant is in Spain legally (on a visa or within the permitted 90-day stay.
  • A three-year residence permit is granted, which can be renewed for a further two years.

    How to Apply for the Nomad Visa

    This visa can be requested from abroad through the Spanish Consulate or from Spain via the Large Business Unit (UGE), depending on your current residency status.
